Responsibilities include date and location selection for all social events, as well as acquisition of prizes and special attractions. Golf outings, Wizards games, Carburetion Day and more fall under their jurisdiction.
Responsible for developing marketing strategies as well as approving concepts and budgets for annual events.
The Codes Committee acts as a liaison with code officials at the City, County and State Government level. Their charge is to stay abreast of all code changes affecting the building industry, as well as further the interests of the Home Builders Association through their many inside contacts.
This Committee furthers the educational opportunities of the membership primarily through frequent seminars. They investigate and determine what topics, speakers and/or demonstrations would provide the most benefit for the members. They also establish dates and locations for holding the seminars.
The primary purpose of the Developers Committee is to maintain a presence at the City County Building, by attending quarterly Commissioners meetings as well as other building department meetings that provide a forum for discussion of ideas and problems that impact the interest of the Home Builders Association.
Policies & Procedures Committee
Reviews all Home Builders Association policies and procedures that relate to home shows, agreements, membership standards, staff and so on.
Parade of Homes Committee
Responsible for total coordination of the Parade including approval of marketing strategies, concepts and budgets.
Responsible for legislative involvement assuring the best interest of the association is served in pending actions in the state, country and city governing bodies.
Responsible for recruiting, screening and approval of all new memberships.
