I can’t believe we are through the first quarter of 2019 already! I feel like we just celebrated the New Year. Since I last wrote, we’ve made some improvements to the HBA offices to be able to better serve our members. Improvements include:
• Getting new computers for our staff; and
• Updating the upstairs common space with tables to be utilized by our members FOR FREE!
We also had a visit from NAHB Senior Consultant Donna Oliver to help the Board of Directors devise a Strategic Plan to help us through the next three to five years. The plan focuses on:
• Workforce development;
• Public relations;
• Government / regulatory affairs;
• Events / networking; and

The Board of Directors is not alone in getting this plan to come to fruition.
