As we march our way into spring, and out of a roller coaster winter, we can finally look forward to the renewal of spring.
In February, I was able to attend the International Builder’s Show in Las Vegas. This was my first time attending this event, and I must say, it was quite a spectacle. Between exhibits, events, education sessions, and attendance, it was almost overwhelming. For anyone who has never been to the convention, but plans to next year, plan ahead. Once we got the feel for the layout of the convention center, and locations of where we wanted to visit, we were able to get much more out of it. The IBA networking night had a little over 200 attendees, as well. It was great to see some of you out there. I hope everyone who attended was able to gain something from their time there.
Our strategic planning session went very well. We want to achieve a focus for the board as a whole for this year, and for the board moving forward. Writing out goals, working on what obstacles we have and how we can overcome them was fantastic. This will be very beneficial for our organization moving forward. It was great to put goals and ideas on paper with the whole board. A big thank you to all of you for taking the time out of your busy schedules.
